Retaining the ivory-white shine of your computer and peripherals is just as tough as it is to debug a complex program.
Computer parts can be cleaned by using a cloth soaked in alcohol or Min oil or some cleaning solution available in the market. This has been followed for a long time. But this method is not really effective in most cases because these substances leave a fade of their own which, over a period of time, gives a brownish tinge to your computer.
What we have quite ignored is the age-old cleaning 'device' - the soap!
Wet a soap cake that is used for cleaning utensils (not the toilet counterpart) and rub some of it into a moist piece of clean cloth. Use this to wipe the surface of the keyboard, cabinet, monitor and other surface areas of your computer system. Remember to wipe the same areas again with another clean and dry piece of cloth.
Do not use detergent powder - some particles might get into inner areas of your peripherals and damage them!
